Play The Choicer Voicer on mobile.

Use a full mobile browser, allow microphone access during sound check, and keep media audio enabled. No APK or account is required for this browser edition.

Device setup

Use the settings that match your phone.

Exact menu labels vary by operating-system and browser version, but the game always needs audio playback, a supported recorder, and site-specific microphone permission.

iPhone and iPad

Open the site in current Safari or another current full browser. Check silent mode and media volume, then allow microphone access when prompted.

Android

Use current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or the device’s full browser. Make sure no call or recorder app is holding the microphone.

Avoid embedded browsers

Links opened inside social or messaging apps may restrict playback or recording. Use “Open in browser” before sound check.

Mobile checklist

Prepare audio before granting permission

Raise media volume to a comfortable level and use headphones if available. Speaker playback can leak into the microphone and make the score reflect the reference audio instead of your performance.

Grant the site microphone access

The permission prompt appears only after you start sound check. Allow access for this site, speak at a normal level, and wait for the input meter to react. The microphone stream is used for local analysis in the current tab.

Recover from a denied permission

Open the browser’s site controls near the address bar, change microphone access from blocked to allowed, and reload. If the setting is unavailable, review the operating system’s privacy settings for that browser, then return to the site.

Keep the phone steady during a take

Set the device on a stable surface or hold it at a consistent distance. Covering the microphone, changing orientation mid-line, switching to another app, or receiving a call can interrupt recording.

Mobile questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. This edition runs in a browser. A home-screen shortcut may be available in your browser, but it still opens the website.

Can several people play on one phone?

Yes. Choose two to four local players and pass the same device after each turn. There is no remote lobby in this build.

Why is the reference silent?

Turn off silent mode when applicable, raise media volume, tap the page once to satisfy browser playback rules, and retry in a full browser.
